You have to always pour into love

My Husband and I are Married Millennials and for us marriage was something we were fearful of for a long time. Society and family examples were not convincing of the joy that comes along with that type of commitment.

However, our marriage has been contrary, I have learned the pure joy of being with someone you never have to hide from. I have been able to be known and to truly know the inter-weavings of my Husband.

Throughout our relationship I have been so open that it bruised my ego. I mean my ego stays taking a beating but that’s truly a beautiful thing. At the end of pride, that’s where you find real love.

Selfishness is the biggest demise of all relationships, in love you have to continually pour into it. ⠀
