Me and My Husband

This is me and my Husband. We are happy because we fight 💪🏾 🥊 to be happy. It’s not automatic and to be honest it’s not at all easy. At All. We are both mental health warriors. We are continuously working to be better mentally but with us it all starts with our relationship with God. We are each other’s mirror when we can’t see enough through the fog. Your mental health is a part of you , it will be a part of everything you do and every relationship you have.

When choosing a spouse, be sure they are mentally healthy because love is a choice. Things will happen in life that will effect your mental health at times because bad times don’t discriminate and neither does mental health. You cannot have a perfect spouse but a good measure of a mentally healthy person is

1. Has no anger issues

2. Has no addictions

3. Is emotionally healthy (not perfect)

4. Isn’t harboring bitterness

5. Honors their parents.

When you marry someone you marry their family habits and experiences. Choose wisely. Also, statistics show for married couples that pray together, read the bible together and go to church together. The divorce rate drops from 1 out of every 2.5 to 1 out of every 1,500.
